Student Council & Leadership Opportunities

Senior students at Palmer Rapids Public School are encouraged to participate in and initiate leadership opportunities at our school. In addition to being a representative on our School Council, Grade 8 students can become involved in the organization and sale of our yearbooks, and in spirit days and dress up days.

In 2013-2014, our senior students assisted with our Santa Shop prior to the holiday season by helping our younger students to shop for gifts for parents, siblings, grandparents and other special people on their list. Several students are participating on the yearbook committee.

Senior students were also involved in organizing an intramural basketball tournament and several spirit and dress up days like Dress Like a Teacher Day, PJ Day, Sports Day and Christmas (Red/Green) Day.
