Fundraisers

Palmer Rapids Public School students together with the support of Parent Council, participate in many fundraisers. In the past, proceeds have gone towards the new playground equipment, class trips, bus costs for athletic events, and other fun events.

THE GIFT OF GIVING

Terry Fox

Our students participate as a school in the annual Terry Fox Run held in September each year. In addition to the physical benefits, our students raise money to support the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.

CPAN

Palmer Rapids Public School students collect new and gently used snowsuits, footwear and other outerwear items in support of the Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network (CPAN). The collection happens just before the Winter months hit.

Jump Rope for Heart

This year Palmer students are participating in Jump Rope for Heart.  All money raised will be donated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Palmer Rapids switches years - one year they support Jump Rope for Heart, the following year they support the MS Readathon.
